On November 18th, the Moose will be playing in the 9th Annual Sledge Hockey Showdown tournament in support of SportAbility BC and sledge hockey programs throughout the Province.
The Showdown will definitely be a new challenge for the Moose. Our players have been on skates and playing hockey since they were young girls. Hockey is their passion. It's what they know and do but it'll be a first for them to play using a sled. It promises to be chaotic and very fun as these competitive players try to navigate and adjust to sledge hockey.
You can participate too! By making a small donation you can help make the great game of hockey accessible to everyone. Tax receipts are provided with all online donations (link below) or by contacting the Moose nearest you to make a cash contribution. All proceeds go directly to SportAbility BC.
