Week 8 Preview: Moose visit Victoria

Seven of eight teams will be on the ice in Week 8, including one of the league's two undefeated teams.
The Meadow Ridge Moose take their perfect 9-0-0 record to Vancouver Island for two games with the Victoria Phantoms. Games will be played Saturday night in Victoria and Sunday morning in Esquimalt, with the Moose needing two points to overtake the idle Kamloops Vibe for first place.
Meadow Ridge needed a pair of unanswered goals in the third period to top the Phantoms 4-2 on Nov. 9 in Coquitlam.
The Trinity Western University Titans look for their third win in five games Saturday night at 6 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre against the visiting Delta Jets. The Titans outscored the Jets in each of two games in Week Five, but the Jets were awarded a victory in one game when TWU was ruled to have a played an ineligible player.
The Jets will also play at home Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Great Pacific Forum, hosting the 3-3-1 South Fraser TNT. The TNT also play in Richmond Saturday night against the Devils at the Richmond Ice Centre.
The first game of Week 8 is on Friday night, when Simon Fraser University hosts the Devils at the North Surrey Recreation Centre.
