Week 14: Moose longer undefeated

There is no longer an undefeated team in SCFAHL.
The Meadow Ridge Moose took a 16-0-1 record into Week 14, and dropped a pair of games by 3-2 scores.
The Richmond Devils handed Meadow Ridge the first loss Saturday afternoon in Langley. After Kristin Hazzard scored twice to give the Moose a 2-0 first period lead, Jodie Wong scored the first goal for the Devils in the last minute of the first period.
Simran Sidhu tied the contest in the second period, and Allison Detina got the winner for Richmond with just 97 seconds to play. Kasey Scheull was the winning netminder, stopping 30 of 32 shots.
The Moose couldn't hold on to another two-goal lead Sunday evening in Maple Ridge, losing to the South Fraser TNT. Sydney Langston opening the scoring in the first period, then Kristin Hazzard made it 2-0 on the powerplay with 11 minutes remaining in the game.
The TNT rallied with a goal from Cathy Hambly with just under six minutes remaining, then tied the game 2-2 with 1:23 to go on a goal from Tara Khan. Natalie May scored the winning goal with 32 seconds left on the clock. Kirsten Mihalcheon, SCFAHL's scoring leader with 15 goals and 32 points in 13 games played, assisted on the final two TNT goals.
