Moose Hockey

2015-2016 Moose Hockey Season:

The Meadow Ridge Moose is a Senior Female team (18+) and compete in the South Coast Female Amatuer Hockey League (SCFAHL). The league is the highest level of female hockey in BC sanctioned by BC Hockey and Hockey Canada. The team joined the league in 2013-14 to provide an opportunity for players in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows and the Fraser Valley to continue playing competitive hockey in their communities.

The team plays out of the Pitt Meadows Arena with practice & exhibition games at the Langley Sportsplex. The league consists of 9 teams with a 28 game schedule, including 2 weekend trips to Kamloops and Victoria. The regular season begins with the Opening Weekend, Oct 2-4, and concludes in March with Provincial Championships. The Provincial Champion advances to the Western Shield in April to compete against the provincial champions of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
