The top women's hockey league in B.C. has a new look and a new name.
Over the summer, the South Coast Female Amateur Hockey League has become the South Coast Women's Hockey League.
All eight teams from a year ago will return to compete in the SCWHL this season, including the Western Canadian champion Kamloops Vibe, the B.C. champion South Fraser TNT, the Richmond Devils, the Meadow Ridge Moose, the Fraser Valley Jets, the Island Surge of Victoria, the Surrey Mavericks and the Trinity Western University Titans.
